Statice Plant

Scientific Name: Limonium

Family Name:  Plumbaginaceae

Common Name: سمندر لیوینڈر, wavyleaf sea lavender

The genus Limonium contains about 600 species of flowering plants. Members are also known as statice, sea-lavender, marsh-rosemary, and statice. These species are not related to rosemary or lavender, despite their names being similar. Rather, they are a member of the Plumbaginaceae family, also referred to as Leadwort. With its delicate, papery flowers in a variety of soft colours, the Statice is a gorgeous display that adds a feeling of refinement to any space. For statice plants, a temperature range of 60 to 75 °F (15 to 24 °C) is excellent. Keep them from the cold and the heat.
